While visiting his home outside Walstadt, the Chancellor Joshua Saint Endellion, finally succumbing to his age of 116, fell in his shower, broke his hip, and suffered a concussion which left him in a coma.

Luckily, he is in hospital now. But he remains comatose.

Three weeks ago, when everyone thought that Joshua would slip away and die, something astonishing and unexpected happened. He woke up. While at first he was weary and ill – he had lost a lot of muscle during his coma – he quickly regained his strength and could be discharged from hospital two weeks later. Recuperating in his home, following Natopian news closely, he decided he could not leave his duties any more. He had to return to the capital. He was the chancellor. The people, the returned emperor, and everyone else needed him.

He was a man who took his oaths and duties seriously. He had to return, even if would kill him.

He took the first flight back to Lindström.
