Cape Oleslaad Policy

With the destruction of Babkha we are left with a difficult discussion. We leased the land known as Cape Oleslaad to the Kingdom in exchange for Port Taroof. We must now decide how to proceed. The leasing treaties state that should either party not renew the treaty, the land will return to the original owners. The Office of the Chancellor asserts that with no government of Babkha in our existence able to renew the treaty Cape Oleslaad reverts to Natopian ownership. However, by that logic, Port Taroof reverts to Babkhan ownership, and thus left to languish as a solitary and woefully independent and under-prepared trading port.

Therefore, the Office of the Chancellor is directing all relevant agents and officers of the Domestic and Foreign Ministries to begin the reintegration of Cape Oleslaad into the Dominion under the administration of the South Apollonia Trading Company (to be renamed appropriately).
