Supplies from Jingdao arrive

A containership flying the Jingdaoese flags entered the Walstadt harbour past the Guns of Walstadt. It moored at the quay where in better times the SATCO would deliver products from Tapfer, and load products from Walstadt on board. The captain and crew of the HLS Nova Victoria were welcomed by the Great King Welf himself, who greeted them profusely. Cargo trucks from the local government lined up next to the ship and cranes placed the containers on the trucks, some of which drove to the cross-docking warehouse in the harbour, others to Kuhstadt to help with the establishment of that city.

Welf took the captain from the HLS Nova Victoria to the city centre where he gave a tour past the Walstadt Palace, which had been bombed by Natopia in 73 EGA. Together the king and captain laid down a wreath for the Walstädter victims of the bombings. Welf then took the captain to the House Walstadt, which had been burned to the ground by Goldshirean attackers only too recently, here they laid down another wreath. The same ritual took place at the ruins of the Unified Church of Walstadt. In the artisan's quarter of Walstadt, Welf took the captain to a sculptor who had been working on sketches for a statue of Emperor Heinrich, which was to be placed in front of the planned new government building.

As the crews of the HLS Nova Victoria and the Walstädter dockworkers had together unloaded the containership, Welf ordered barrels of Fürst Ludwig Bier to be rolled to the Wiese north of the harbour. Here the Jingdaoese and Walstädter drank together, to their renewed friendship.
