ROYAL DECREE (6634)

ON THE REGULATION OF GOLDSHIREAN BUSINESSES

We, King Ryker Everstone of Goldshire, seeing that:
  • There is no state law requiring businesses to register with the Kingdom of Goldshire and that;
    Regulation and documentation of Goldshirean for-profit establishments would provide invaluable data to the state.
Hereby establish the Golden Ticket (GT) as official proof of business registration and declare that any business found without its uniquely numbered GT will see its assets seized by the Kingdom of Goldshire unless sufficient proof is brought to the Gentlemen-at-Cudgels that a GT is being obtained. A business may lose its GT by means of staff violating the Codex or county law. GT verification checks will be performed by the Gentlemen-at-Cudgels biannually (AN) starting in 6634 ASC.

Let it also be known that entities under Royal Warrant or Contract do not require a Golden Ticket as they have been deemed essential to Goldshire's continued prosperity by the Kingdom itself.
