ON THE PASSING OF HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN OF GOLDSHIRE AND THE SUBSEQUENT REGENCY OF THE KHANUM
Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place granted to Zurvan this Decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for us and our heirs forever.
We, LAYLA NEFETERI MALIANA OF THE HOUSE OF VERION, THE KHANUM OF CABBAGEFALL, by the power vested in US under the Codex Aureus Regni, assume the mantle of government of the Kingdom of Goldshire in reaction to the passing of our dearly beloved and respected Monarch, NOOR AS SALAAM, QAISAR BANOOYE SATHRATIYE, SHAHBANOOYE ZARISTANE, etc, etc, etc. In order to guide our Kingdom through these troublesome times, we order, declare and decree the following:
- There will be a period of mourning, lasting seven days, during which the Throne of Goldshire will be vacant. All will pay their respect and tribute to our beloved late Queen, and religious services, ceremonies of remembrance and processions will be held to remember her legacy.
- After said period of mourning, I, by the powers granted unto me by the Codex Aureus Regni, will ascend to the Throne of Goldshire as Queen, and co-ordinate, guide and establish the Royal Government of Goldshire according to the need of the people.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused the Royal Seal to be affixed to this Decree which We have signed with Our Hand. Given this Fourteenth day of the Eighth month in the year 1650 at the City of Cabbagefall.
