ROYAL DECREE of the Royal Family of the The Marches and the Princely Isle of NATOPIA



Sending greetings to the people of The Royal Tsardom

Whereas I firmly believe that people should have the right of association, and the right to discuss their interests freely and orderly, I do hereby decree that:

1. Royal Societies shall be organisations formed by a group of not less than 50 Commonwealth Residents who have a shared interest, hoppy, belief or aspiration which they may preserve alive through the said Society.

2. A Royal Society shall be established by my Royal Court, and the procedures for establishing a Society shall be transparent, fair and unbiased.

3. A Royal Society may establish its own Constitution, may elect members to a board of directors, and establish its own rules and regulations so long as they are consistent with local, Royal, Commonwealth and Natopian law and consistent with Royal policy on societies.

4. A Royal Society may not discriminate members, or those desiring to be members, on any basis and may not charge any membership or other fees, except with the approval of a majority of its members.

5. A Royal Society may be disestablished in accordance with its Constitution, or by my Royal Court due to inactivity or due to breach of law.
