His Serene and Eminent Imperial Highness the Prince of Molivadia by the Grace of the Basileus Grand Knight Commander of The Order of the Great Kingdom of Constancia, Kanikleios of Basileusa Megaliotate and Autokrator of Constancia, Co-Ruler of the Kingdom

To all whom these commands shall come, the Autokrator sends

GREETING:


WHEREAS the economic growth of the Imperial State of Constancia is of prevailing state interest, and

WHEREAS the Company of Merchant Adventurers to New Lands, a corporation registered under the laws of the Imperial State of Constancia, through the Thema Oranjesion, has petitioned for securing the grant of certain rights and privileges

In the name and with the authority of

Ὀλυμπία
Basilinna, Supreme Lord of Vey, Portus Felix, Ad Pontes, Elaion, Craiss and Metaxia, Cario, Idolgi, Ithonion, Oranjesion, Nivardom, and Aqaba, Defender and Protector of the Patriarchal Orthodox Faith

LET IT THEREFORE BE KNOWN that this Decree shall codify the laws and policies of the Imperial State of Constancia with respect to the Company of Merchant Adventurers to New Lands

AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that the land duly acquired by the Company in the former Hoennese island of Niijima is henceforth considered a protectorate of the Imperial State of Constancia, but under the direct government of the Company

AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE the establishment of Augustinium, a new settlement, on the coastal land of the company, not to exceed 576 square kilometers, directly governed by the Imperial State through the Thema Oranjesion

AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that the laws of the Imperial State shall suppletorily apply to the entire island, with the Company regulations having pre-eminent place, provided these do not contravene Imperial Constancian law

AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that the Company shall report on developments in the island to the Autokrator at least once a month

AND FINALLY WE DECLARE that these commands reach all Subjects in the Imperial State and all others throughout Micras

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused these Our Letters to be made Patent.

WITNESS Ourself at Government House, this 6th day of the 11th month of Gamilios 1690 in the 3rd year of Her Imperial Majesty's Reign
