FIRST MEMBERS OF THE SEAX GUARD TAKE OATH



RADBOUDSBURG - Two hundred recruits of the Seax Guard took their oaths today, becoming the first guards to enter into active service. The Guard was established recently by King Gradus of the Saxons and its members were trained by police officers of the partially defunct police organisation of the old empire and captains of the Nederburgian Hussars. The newly formed paramilitary police organisation is envisioned to restore order to the Saxon Kingdom. Its members are armed with carbines and seaxes, the traditional knife of the people.
