Christophoros Family Tree

Post by Orion »

This tree traces the lineage of the Christophoros family from their roots as the 1st Emperors of Audentior down through the ages to the present day. I'll likely create a historical timeline to accompany this and provide some explanation behind the various personages.

Interesting. I assume that third empire refers to Apollantis?

Yes, and the marriage of Orion V to Dejanira represents the union of Apollantis with Kildare according to that treaty we signed way back when we agreed to share ownership. The Shirerithian Ascension refers to when Shireroth (Kildare) took over the coastal areas of Audentior (Apollo City, etc) after the fall of the 2nd Empire.

> Guardian of the Foundation

I always wanted to do some conculture stuff about the Foundation, about how if and how it transitioned from actually governing territory to preserving relics and stuff. I referenced it vaguely in one of the recwars when I talked about the Omen Guardian being the second highest position in the organization, but never really had a chance to explore how the structure worked or what they even do further.

I'd always intended to flesh out the back-story of the Foundation but it's one of those things that goes on the to-do list but keeps getting bumped down to make room for other projects. Originally it was inspired by Asimov's Foundation, but has now morphed into a crossover of that plus the Vatican/Knights and Great Library.
