"Losing my religion"

While Noor had always considered herself religious, a Zurvanist in the Elwynnese fashion, something that made her father, Prince Daniel II, almost disown her several times, Noor had never had a crisis of faith. But now she did.

The latest princely decrees on the Lady Elwynn had made Noor reconsider so much. Lady Elwynn, as an avatar of Zurvan, was a spiritual being, not a physical being. She was a force of the divine nature, part of the very universe in which we live. But now... it seemed implied that Lady Elwynn was a corporal being. This felt wrong, blasphemous.

But as honourable as Noor was, she knew that she should not accuse others of blasphemy, but respect others' views.

She needed to find the truth, though. She visited the many temples and unorthodox churches in Ardashirshahr, but everything seemed hollow. She would have to embark on a traditional pilgrimage to Yaanek, so the holiest of holy grounds of Elwynn.

Noor decreed some papers. The newly elected legislative assembly would have free reign to govern in her absence. She would be away for about two years.
