Names for the Amokolian Islands
Names for the Amokolian Islands
Amokolians and visitors,
I'm looking for names for the two islands that Amokolia recently acquired through the annexation of the Jeannite kingdom. So please give me your suggestions.

Sweet Lady Daughter of Mine,
Give them back their ancient names: Drakenoya for the large island, and Norfae for the smaller island.

Those are some cool names indeed!
Since Norfae is inhabited by Ice Faeries we should better change the name of the city of New London to something a bit more Faerie-esque.

Yep. And the same applies to the Bailiwick of the same name.Fjorleif wrote:Since Norfae is inhabited by Ice Faeries we should better change the name of the city of New London to something a bit more Faerie-esque.

Is there a wiki page for the Ice Fairies? And are they related to the Elfnishi?

I did a quick data dump from my archives of the material I had written for Bjorngard and a couple of images. It needs more work to look good but gives some context.

It turns out to be that Norfae is an island that Amokolia already possessed prior to the annexation of the Jeannite Kingdom.

Well, then give the island south of Drakenoya the name of Falkuroya.Fjorleif wrote:It turns out to be that Norfae is an island that Amokolia already possessed prior to the annexation of the Jeannite Kingdom.

There's some information on New London here, that was in turn based off of extensive research through old Amokolian material and conversations with Jess.
This was also the beginning of an attempt to tie-in Amokolia's history with Bjorngarder and Cimmero-Hyperborean cultures. For example, the berserkers of "Amok" were supposed to be the aggressive, chaotic side of the peaceful Hyperboreans.

Thank you very much for the link!
I propose to the Lord Steward to name the island as well as the Bailiwick East Fardia, and the city Vale of Vineyards.
