Kurai Darkmoon, The Timeless Shadow, the Metrobosarch of Benacia, Bosarch of Smjörkyr, was the one leading the service along with the Pentheros Aldin, brother of the slain princes.
At first, while the open caskets were carried inside by the Longships Fleur de Lys Guard to the altar area of the Cathedral, the congregation sang one of the hymns composed by the brothers’ father Nathaniel, Juice and Bagels:
Guide us, O great butt'ry Spirit,
Guardian of this awesome land,
To the place where your gifts are plenty;
Feed us out of your mighty hand:
Juice and bagels! Juice and bagels!
Feed us till we want no more!
Feed us till we want no more!
Open up the butt'ry rivers
Whence the fatty streams proceed;
Let the golden, sustaining fluid
Give us all our lives should need:
Hail your powers! Hail your powers!
Have mercy on us poor fools!
Have mercy on us poor fools!
When we give to you our worship,
Grant us wisdom, strength and cool;
Do not laugh or have us rejected,
But accept us lowly fools.
We, the people, we the people,
Will forever be your calves,
Will forever be your calves.
After which, the Metrobosarch, spoke:
Prince Adam, brother of the slain brothers, then rose to the podium to read the scriptures.The Timeless Shadow wrote:Dearly Beloved
We have been gathered here to day to give our farewells to our brothers, Arn and Rostam, Calves of Bous, as they embark on their final journey to the place where Bous’s gifts are plenty. There, every day, in the great Dairy-land of the buttery kingdom, they will eat as much bagels as they would ever like, and drink as much juice as they would ever desire.
Adam wrote: The reading is from the Revelation of Prince William:This is the word of Bous. Acow.
Moo moo mooooo! I say unto you!
Do not forget the ways of the Butter Cow,
For the milk of his ethereal utter breathes life into this land.
And out of his hand,Comes the light of Dawn ;D
All wrote:Acow
The Timeless Shadow wrote:Indeed, from the Butter Cow, from the Bull, From Bous comes the light of dawn and breathes life into this land. This means, that though things may appear dead, barren and evil, and especially so when two so young calves have been slaughtered, hope and love may seem lost,
Prince William was a prince long ago, and this prophecy came to him in the darkest of times. I will not dwell on the circumstances of his darkness, only that it was dark enough for Bous to illuminate his life completely in a revelation.
”Moo”, said Bous through the Butter Cow, several times, to get William’s attention. The calling of Bous’s own words identified him such to William. Now William listened. ”I say unto you”, Bous went on, commanding further attention, ”Do not forget the ways of the Butter Cow”
If we forget the ways, even in the darkest of hours, how will we then receive the buttery blessings? To receive them, we must be willing to receive them. And that willingness requires faith.
And it is in faith that we turn to in this hour of darkness, so that the milk of Bous may breathe life unto us in this land and in all lands…, so that light of Dawn may come out of his hand.
As Arn and Rostam now are in the land of Darkness, in the land of Inbetween, in the fortress of souls, in the land which lies between Micras, Earth and Dairyland.
The triangle of Realms make it so that each point is a physical realm, that you travel to from the inside of the triangle. That is where Arn and Rostam are now. With this service, we shall commend their spirits to their new bodies, in Dairyland. They will no longer be flesh and bones, but they will be risen with new bodies made from the finest churned butter.
And that is our mission today, to bring them to Dairyland.
Let us now eat of the butter, to feel the right taste, to know the bodies of Arn and Rostam once we as well will joint hem in Dairyland on our day of resurrection.
With that, buckets of butter was delivered around the congregation. Each member of the congregation took a spoon, scooped a spoonful of butter, and held it, waiting for the blessing to consume it.All wrote:Acow.
The Timeless Shadow spoke:
The congregation ate their butter, and the mighty organ began playing the next hymn, which the congregation began singing loudly and proudly:The Timeless Shadow wrote:Thus saith Bous: ”Gather ye the butter, and eat it, feel ye the salty and creamy taste that butter shalt have, and take ye note of the right nuance of colour.” Our Lord commands us to eat the butter with reverence, with the use of all our senses. This is the taste of the Buttery Quadrant itself, and it is the same taste that Arn and Rostam will have on their resurrection in Dairyland.
Now, eat ye the butter!
Come, come, ye fools, no angst nor strangeness fear;
But with joy, milk the Bull!
Though hard to you this labour may appear,
Milk will touch every fool!
'Tis better far for us to strive
our useless cares from us to drive:
Do this, and milk your minds will swell -
All is well! All is well!
Why should we frown or think less of His horde?
'Tis not so; all is right.
Why should we think to earn a great reward
If we now shun the light?
Go up his loin, fresh courage take.
Our Bull will never us forsake;
And soon we'll have this tale to tell:
All is well! All is well!
We'll find the place which He for us prepared,
all the way through His rest;
Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid;
There the fools will be blessed.
We'll milk the bull, our bodies sing,
Shout praises to our god and king;
Above the rest these words we'll tell:
All is well! All is well!
And should we not appraise our Butter Bull,
Hate that day! Nothing's well!
We then are slaves to margarine and fools,
With the cursed we shall dwell!
But if our lives are spared again
To please the Bull, his milk obtain,
Oh how our hearts will surely swell --
All is well! All is well!
Then the Congregation stood up, and the Timeless Shadow turned to the caskets where the brothers lay:The Timeless Shadow wrote:My calves,
“Why should we we think to earn to a great reward if we now shun the light? Go up his loin, fresh courage take! Our Bull will never us forsake! And soon we’ll have this tale to tell: All is well! All is well!”
Indeed, faith takes courage, but without faith our rewards and blessings will not come. Let us use our faith to bring Arn and Rostam to Dairyland, as their faith will ease their journey there. Together, we help them there, and together we will help each other there. There, all is well, all is well.
Let us now commend the spirits of Arn and Rostam to Dairyland.
O Mighty Bous – accept our faith and submission – and shine forth a path for your calves Arn and Rostam to go from the land of Inbetween, the fortress of souls in darkness, to go to your land, the land where your gifts are plenty. Make their hearts swell, make it all well. Accept Arn and Rostam into your land of the light of Dawn, rise them as you have promised,in your image, in butter, where they may join their father and his fathers, where all is well. Acow!
The Congregation then sang the next hymn.The Timeless Shadow wrote:Arn and Rostam: Go forth into the unkown, travel the darkness into the land of promises. Bous will shine a path with the light of dawn, for you to travel on, so that you may find Dairyland.
How mighty Bous is, our god!
A fortress never failing!
Our leader he is with his rods.
We never him cease hailing.
His rods us discipline,
from margarine we're rinsed.
His wit and pow'r are great.
And armed with cruèl hate,
on Earth is not his equal.
That bull above all earthly bulls
In us always abideth.
What joy! With us, his lowly fools,
The mighty Bous sideth.
Let friends and fam'ly go,
this mortal life also;
The body they may kill:
Bous abideth still,
We his fools are forever.
The Timeless Shadow wrote: I now call upon the congregation to walk up to the caskets and bid Arn and Rostam their farewells.
