The first quarter is a combination of the Arms of the Jarldom of Freyja's Necklace and that of its capital, the Royal City of Freyushavn, the place in Stormark where the
first ruler of the County of Íseirdia-la-Vraulalennir, Dame Gudrun Eriksdottir, was born.
In the second quarter is to be found a symbol for the Triple Goddess. A modified version of this symbol was used as official seal and family heirloom by the
House of Green, the noble house which ruled Iserdia/Íseirdia-la-Vraulalennir for some time.
The fleur de lys in the third quarter represents the lily/orchid that was to be found in the
flag of the County of Smjörkýr and the
flag of County of Iserdia under Count Luix Rakira.
The cow's head in the fourth quarter represents Bous, the buttery bovine god of the
Bovic Faith.
In addition to the aforesaid I also would like to explain the the choice of the shield supporters:
- The griffin is the symbol of the Natopian Demesene called Flaventia, the seat of the House of Waffel-Paine, and it represents Nathan Waffel-Paine who had several stints as ruler of the area as Count of Smjörkýr and as Baron of Iserdia. (And yes, I'm aware that Nathan and Luix Rakira are the same macroperson.)
The stag has been inspired by the stag's head on the bottle of the whisky brand Glenfiddich, of which I strongly suspect that the capital of Íseirdia-la-Vraulalennir is named after.
