Well and truly out of the desert, Hunter's Valley lies in the centre of a series of lush green valleys bearing the same name, following the course of Tyranus River that passes through them. This makes it a prime wine growing region, with vines, some dating back to the very dawn of Lovely, planted along most of the hills. Their wines regularly compete with top quality Dalur River wines for the title of Novatainia's Finest.

While many people believe the name Hunter's Valley refers to the hunting of deer, this is untrue. It is a little known fact, but much more deer hunting occurs from Inis than from Hunter's Valley. The name instead refers to the hunt of the connoisseur for the finest wine - for in the Hunter's Valley there are many fine wines to choose from, and many longstanding wineries in which to hunt.
