Poetvillae stands at the very southern end of the Barrier, the indomitable mountain range that splits the northern tip of Novatainia into two sides. Pines on the high mountains have long ago made way for eucalypts in these lower foothills. A number of villas from the richer citizens of what was once Lovely dot the final hill, and, with a small town around it, make up Poetvillae. The land seems greatly inspiring for Poets, hence it's name, but it is also home to a number of other literary folk, and, as such, includes the largest publishing house in Novatainia (apart from the Academy), Poetvillae Publishers. Poetvillae Publishers are the leading non-magical publishing house in Novatainia, publishing all types of material. Their most famous publication is the ''Novatainian's Visitors Guide'' which has inspired and amused many a traveller to the land.

And with its inspiration of poets and beautiful villas, how could Poetvillae not hold the Temple to Turan, she who is so beautiful and tells such enchanting stories? While some may argue the flow of causality, all modern audiences know is that the demigod still treads these foothills and visits her various lovers in the town. Many a poet has awoken and declared he has been inspired by this demigod.
