[Architecture Portfolio] The Ptia Bridge

The Ptia Bridge links Port Trias on Yellow Island to the island of Ptia. The bridge carries Tapfer Route 10 on the top deck and the Yellow Island Rail Road below. The Port Trias side entrance are standard ramps while the Ptia side enters a rocky cliff, which allows both the railroad and Tapfer 10 to emerge further inland without the need for intrusive ramps and interchanges.

The main span is located at the middle section of the structure and is tall enough to allow a NDF air craft carrier to pass underneath. SATCo cargo vessels, both ocean-going and intrabay, are able to use the main or secondary spans easily. Several of these vessels are included for scale.

Thank you everyone :) This was a test to see if it would be plausible to do the same for other bridges.

There are semi-trucks on the the top deck to give a familiar sense of scale. The total length of the bridge is about 68km. Each end is truncated in the image but most of the length is from the low bridges on both ends.

Not too far beyond reality. Just make sure you pee at the rest area before you start driving.

I'd imagine you can pull over and pee off the side... Of course you better watch out for boats going by. :p
