Mysty Vale

North of Mount Illuminus, well within the middle of The Barrier lies the Mysty Vale, a legendary lost valley that's floated in and out of history. The Glanurchy Prince is said to have hid out there from Prince Nova's armies before eventually capitulating, as did the explorer Harold Stormbringer while avoiding his rivals seeking Mount Illuminus. But mostly it exists as a semi legendary valley, permanently shrouded in mist. Some claim it doesn't really exist, others that it only appears at certain times, when the mist parts, and most agree the mist is not of natural origin. The few who claim to have visited the valley reported it as a place of melancholy beauty, with rare plants not found in other places, and the most amazing flowers, who's petals appear to be light flames. No one has reported seeing it within the last century, despite several attempts at aerial flyovers to rediscover it.
