A request from Aracigrad

Post by Raz » Sat Oct 25, 2014 10:11 pm

Oh mighty Caudillo,

News from the recognition of the freedom of the Kildari people from feudal oppression reached our shores this week and we were overjoyed. As you know, the feudal customs of Shireroth have hurt no region in Kildare more than our city of Aracigrad. We believe that the government system in our city should derive from a mandate of the masses, not some forgotten knight's melancholic feelings. On Carol Island, the vast majority of the people considers Aracigrad its regional capital but a "tradition" as people from outside the island call it, makes it impossible for us to organize a proper government. To prevent Aracigrad from acting as a de facto regional capital the Dutch ordered our regional government quarters to be transported over the island, people who wished to file a declaration of birth had to travel to many villages before they finally found the one that housed the count during that week, when they finally returned home they would find their child had died of old age. We're sick of it and we request the abolition of this tradition.

Please consider this petition from your most loyal people.

:doc:

It was also a request to the Dutch, the last Dutch was killed by the same Shiretit government which is now "protecting" this tradition.
