Craitish internationals end careers abroad

Post by Craitman »

Two foreign-based Craits have hung-up their boots this summer after spells playing in Tellia's Serie A.

Right-back Jon Anders Larsen ends his career aged 37 one year after becoming a member of a very select group to win league titles in three different nations, having spent four seasons at Romero Sport. One of the most successful Craitish players ever and a master of the full-back position on Micras, Larsen earned 77 international caps over a seven-year period. Winger Hjaņ Pellegrino Jones, also 37, is bringing his career to an end after six seasons playing for LVG after joining from Cherry Trees; the same as Larsen. Jones chose to remain eligible for Craitland until retiring, but was unable to add to the 13 caps he won up until 2011, despite his younger brother Tiem playing internationals up to 2015.

In addition to Jones and Larsen, four more former-League 1 players have retired in Tellia. Cherry Trees' ex-stopper Roberto Flavienchini (37) and former-Sverige striker Piero Donetti (39), who both won two League 1 titles, have retired, as have former-Eĵars defender Phan Hoàng Trần (37) and Teflons' old midfielder Antoine Bodmer (35), whom fans will best remember for his disruptive personality and disciplinary troubles at Xäiville.
