In the year of our Lord, 5597 / 97th year of the restoration

The Prophet of the Lord, the Elders of the Restored Church of the Lord, the Council of Saints and the Council of Priest, together bound by faith in the Congress of the Lord hereby issue this unanimous Declaration.

Considering the fact that the creation of our own state has forced upon us many new and sometimes unfamiliar situations, we have decided that it would be best for the Free Republic to seek close alliance with other states. The Commonwealth of the Brettish Isles has kindly invited us to be placed under their administration. The Brettish Isles are renowned for religious tolerance and hold dear the very values that have shaped the Free Republic: Liberty and Holiness.

We, from this day on, declare ourselves to be under the sovereignity of the Commonwealth of the Brettish isles as a territory, known as the Free State of Wayne. We will remain sovereign in all aspects except for foreign relations and further external affairs, and defense.
