At the Court at Brunopolis, Transegale

15th day of Butterary in the year 1695

Present:
Her Imperial Highness The Princess of Arboria

A Decree of The Princess of Arboria in Council



Whereas it has pleased His Most Bovic Majesty to grant Assent and Approval for the Consensus of Government 1676 and our government of this Demesne Union,

NOW, THEREFORE , by virtue and in exercise of our vested powers, we are pleased, by and with the advice of our Council, to order, as follows:
  1. Her Imperial Highness The Princess Rosamund of Arboria and His Imperial Highness The Prince Iñigo of Arboria are appointed to our Council of Arboria.
  2. The provinces of the Principality of Arboria are Transegale, Arboria del Sur, Mar Sara, and Arboria Proper is hereby designated henceforth as Northern Arboria.
  3. On the Government of the Principality of Arboria. The Government of the Principality of Arboria is vested in the Princess of Arboria, who delegates this to the Chancellor of the Principality of Arboria, appointed and serving at her pleasure, assisted by a Chief Minister and Ministers of the Principality of Arboria appointed by the Chancellor and serving at his pleasure. The Chancellor and Chief Minister are counseled by the Senate of Arboria, which shall consist of 50 members for a six-year term, of which the Governors of Transegale, Arboria del Sur, Mar Sara and Northern Arboria shall appoint one representative to serve a six-year term, and their respective legislatures shall by resolution elect a qualified resident to serve for a six-year term. The residents of each province shall elect one representative, and the residents of each chartered city shall elect one representative. The remainder of the seats shall be elected by the residents of the Principality at large. The first elections shall take place on XIII.1695 at a date prescribed by the Commission on Elections.
  4. On the Government of Transegale. The Government of Transegale is vested in the Governor of Transegale, assisted by the Vice Governor of Transegale and counseled by the Transegale Assembly, which shall consist of 50 elected members for a three-year term. The Governor and Vice Governor shall be elected for a six-year term, but may not run for re-election for the succeeding term after their service. The first elections shall take place on XIII.1695 at a date prescribed by the Commission on Elections.
  5. The Government of Transegale shall collect revenues, maintain roads, waterways, byways, public lands, public utilities, uphold domestic order, and cooperate with all Demesn,e Union, Principality, and Imperial public authorities, and shall sit in Brunopolis.
  6. The offices of Board of Control, Crown Representative, Secretary to the Board of Control, and Constituent Assembly are declared functus officio effective noon of the last day of 1695. Other existing institutions of government of Transegale are declared functus officio effective noon of the last day of 1695.
  7. The Bronze Coast Department, The Eastern Department, The Frontier Department, The Northern Department are dissolved effective noon of the last day of 1695, and all assets and liabilities thereof shall accrue to the Government of Transegale.
  8. On the Government of Arboria del Sur. The Government of Arboria del Sur is vested in the Governor of Arboria del Sur, assisted by the Vice Governor of Arboria del Sur and counseled by the House of Representatives of Arboria del Sur, which shall consist of 50 elected members for a three-year term. The Governor and Vice Governor shall be elected for a six-year term, but may not run for re-election for the succeeding term after their service. The first elections shall take place on XIV.1695 at a date prescribed by the Commission on Elections. Existing institutions of government of Arboria del Sur are declared functus officio effective noon of the last day of 1695, provided that the West Tapfer Committee of the Council of Arboria shall remain as an advisory institution.
  9. The Government of Arboria del Sur shall collect revenues, maintain roads, waterways, byways, public lands, public utilities, uphold domestic order, and cooperate with all Demesne Union, Principality, and Imperial public authorities, and shall sit in Isabellatun.
  10. On the Government of Mar Sara. The Government of Mar Sara is vested in the Governor of Mar Sara, assisted by the Vice Governor of Mar Sara and counseled by the House of Assembly of Mar Sara, which shall consist of 24 elected members for a three-year term. The Governor and Vice Governor shall be elected for a six-year term, but may not run for re-election for the succeeding term after their service. The first elections shall take place on XIV.1695 at a date prescribed by the Commission on Elections. Existing institutions of government of Mar Sara are declared functus officio effective noon of the last day of 1695.
  11. The Government of Mar Sara shall collect revenues, maintain roads, waterways, byways, public lands, public utilities, uphold domestic order, and cooperate with all Demesne Union, Principality, and Imperial public authorities, and shall sit in Augustgrad.
  12. On the Government of Northern Arboria. The Government of Northern Arboria is vested in the Governor of Northern Arboria, assisted by the Vice Governor of Northern Arboria and counseled by the House of Assembly of Mar Sara, which shall consist of 50 elected members for a three-year term. The Governor and Vice Governor shall be elected for a six-year term, but may not run for re-election for the succeeding term after their service. The first elections shall take place on XV.1695 at a date prescribed by the Commission on Elections. Existing institutions of government of the Government of Northern Arboria are declared functus officio effective noon of the last day of 1695.
  13. The Government of Northern Arboria shall collect revenues, maintain roads, waterways, byways, public lands, public utilities, uphold domestic order, and cooperate with all Demesne Union, Principality, and Imperial public authorities, and shall sit in Tirlar.
  14. Funds of the Government of the Principality not otherwise appropriated are authorized to be appropriated for these elections.
  15. Previous Decrees are of The Princess of Arboria in Council are amended accordingly.
