Arasha has an unicameral parliament, the House of Arasha. The parliament is elected directly by the Arashi people in a system of direct representation. Parliament usually serves a 4 month term, but can be disbanded earlier in three ways. 1) by national referendum. A referendum is a very strong weapon for the opposition, although rarely used. Necessary for a national referendum are the support of at least 1/3rd of the House of Arasha and a green light from the President (which usually is a formality). A national referendum for disbanding of the House of Arasha will consist of two simple options for, or against disbanding Parliament. A 2/3rd majority from the Arashi people is needed for the immediate disbanding of the House. The second way the house can be disbanded is by a Presidential Decree. A Presidential Decree for disbanding the House of Arasha needs to be backed by a notion of approval by the entire Executive Government. The third way for disbanding Parliament is by a simple majority vote in the House of Arasha. All of these result in immediate elections.

The House of Arasha consists of 50 members, all elected in the national general elections. These members can be either elected in political fractions or as independent members. The House of Arasha is the main legislative body, although the President also has legislative power in the form of Presidential Decrees. The House of Arasha elects the President. A Presidential election requires formally a 2/3rd majority of the House but when after three subsequent voting rounds no President has been elected, a simple majority suffices. When the House, after six rounds, has failed to elect a President, new general elections will have to be held.

The House not only elects the President, but also appoints judges which means that Arasha does not abide strictly by the trias politica. The House only has a say in the appoinment of judges in the secular court, the religious court (Sanhedrin) is a seperate institution.

After a President is elected, he will appoint ministers for the Executive chamber, the Council of Ministers. De facto, these ministers will be backed by a majority of the House of Arasha, since the council has no legislative function. The offices of ministers are not defined and can theoretically change every time. The President has the right to remove ministers from the Council, as has Parliament by a 2/3rd majority. The President furthermore has the power to appoint a General of the ADF, where he usually follows the advice from the millitary staff.

Local government consists of the City Council, which is situated in the largest town or city in the district, a Mayor is the executive branch of the local government. The Mayor may appoint a local government, but this is not specifically defined by law.
