The return of PSI

Post by Aster »

After a long period of restructuring, PSI is back with much better product images and detail. Our forums haven't been tarted up yet, but swing by the republic's state chamber of commerce if you want (http://www.ashkenatza.net/viewforum.php ... 4af2f78f1f)

Excellent news. Arms and technology are pretty much staple in micronational economics. I forget, how wide are PSI's interests? I remember your earlier ekranopolan-inspired stuff but the archived forum doesn't give me much (e.g. this thread, bookmarked, now missing). I ask because I have need of civilian/police small ships, while it seems PSI is focused on aerospace.

PSI these days will only really be focusing on aerospace and civil engineering megaprojects. As a legacy of Shalitov (a company we absorbed), we may churn out some trains, but I'm not sure at the moment.

Most of the indigenuous shipping produced and used by the 'Maroon Republic' is mainly done now by the nationalised military shipyards 'Klymenburg Drive Yards' - the smallest thing it does at the moment are Ekranoplans (and we probably won't go any smaller - generally KDY produces ships that provide the sort of combinations of equipment and weaponry we need that don't exist in 'off the shelf' vessels that we could get from the 'real world', and we've found plenty of macronational patrol boats that meet our needs perfectly for our OrBat). It's been moved to the chamber of commerce forum now - however, if you want to do some trade with KDY, it's run by the AMK so you'd need to negotiate with the Republic itself.

CWG should form a strategic alliance with PSI. Also,
Ashkenatza probably should not sell the CWG shares it was given
as a gift, instead keeping them as an investment and possible
base to expand its stake.

Let's have a chat about that if you're interested. Are you involved in aerospace R&D and production at all?

Very good question. Let me first state that as of right now I speak merely
as a large shareholder (10%) in CWG, not as an Director or officer or other
employee. Having gotten that out of the way, the answer to your question
is no. However, is a conglomerate, and its sole purpose is maximizing
profit for shareholders, with no means specified, as long as it is legal and ethical.
This means that CWG may become involved in the defense industry at some
time. Ideally, it would subcontract out the R&D and manufacturing to
a third party company, in regards to defense products, and then utilize the CWG
distribution channel, management structure, as well as financial support
to market and monetize those products. The products would be branded
as CWG products.

Would ISI be interested in designing and building to order a class of products
for CWG at a highly reduced cost in exchange for 70% of the gross sales plus
a one-time consultation fee, including options on a possible upcoming issue
of a new class of CWG shares?

I'm sure that could be arranged. Head over to our commissions forum to talk about the particulars. Unfortunately you won't be able to get a return by buying some shares in PSI - we're non-publically traded and are a WSDE. We would naturally be constrained by the regulation of the republic if the powers that be feel that our products would be sold to...certain organisations and regimes. I'm sure we can work something out though :)
