Free will

Post by Markus Doltrue »

Inspired by Verion's comment in the Morality thread.
Verion wrote:People only do what they do because of what has been done before. We're basically just zombies playing out an exponentially complex story.

I had to edit the poll to add the option I wanted to vote for, sorry about that.

We shouldn't have, we should just follow the will of the Heavenly Light.

I'm halfway between Yes and Not Enough Evidence. (I draw a distinction between the questions 'Do you believe in free will' and 'Do you have it' or 'Does it exist'.) It is also a stupid question, but I don't think that actually answers it.

I think it's an irrelevant question, not a stupid one.

Also, if you think we have free will, please answer this: why is it that you perform an action?
1.Titus Morvayne, Prefect of Shirekeep, Count of the Skyla Islands
2.Eki Aholibamah Verion, Queen in the North
3. Ludovic Verion, Lord of Blackstone and Governor-General of the Iron Company
