Summons to the People of Alexandria

Consular Order Number 1, Series 2017.

By the Consul for Defense
of the Empire of the Alexandrians



I, Jaime Augustin Joaquin Primo de Aguilar, current Consul for Defense of the Empire of the Alexandrians by virtue of existing Alexandrian law, on this the 27th of July, 2017, do hereby invoke Article 5 of the Regency Act of 2014:

Article 5. In the event of tumult where the Palace of the Tuileries and the Empire shall be inaccessible, the Imperial Assembly shall immediately convene at the premises of the Imperial Alexandrian Embassy in the High Realm of Stormark, in accordance with its rules, and thereafter sit and conduct business until otherwise provided by the Imperial Assembly, the Lord Protector, the Regent, or the Emperor.

as I am commanded to do by Article 10 of the aforesaid Act:

Article 10. It shall be the duty of all members of the Consulate to ensure the proper implementation of this Act. Where there shall be no Consulate, it shall be the duty of all members of the Council of State and all Deputies of the Imperial Assembly to ensure the proper implementation of this Act.

I do hereby summon and convene the Imperial Assembly at the premises of the Imperial Alexandrian Embassy in the High Realm of Stormark, and urge all citizens to remain calm in the midst of this crisis.

If you have not read the announcement from your beloved and perhaps former Emperor, Your Excellency, he wishes Alexandria not to be recreated, save for perhaps the land itself to be held in direct fief by him in perpetuity.

That's not what the letter said. The letter said that after a modification to change names and places, there would be a removal. There would be no land given or gifted away to anyone prior or during the modification (or before the removal) - that's what was meant when it was said: "no Alexandrian land will be given away".
