Harvesthigh 20th, 158 Anno Libertatis

May it please the Heavenly Light to accept the following gift with the compliments of the Council of Perfecti of the Garden of Kalgachia.
The Garden of Kalgachia wishes to enquire upon the current availability of the Jan van Gent VII transport aircraft for sale on the international market, with a view to the purchase of thirty-two (32) of the aforesaid aircraft by the Kalgachi Directorate of Public Works, with the following added features:A figurine of polished Kalgachi granite inlaid with gold. It depicts a young girl with an expression of grim determination, crawling out from beneath the corpse of a fallen Jingdaoese soldier and reaching for his dropped rifle.
- Modifications to the ventral fuselage to accomodate flare and chaff dispensers (to be supplied and fitted by Sukoku Industries) and an ECM suite (to be supplied and fitted by the customer)
- An indefinite-term contract for the maintenance and repair of the purchased aircraft (except for the ECM suite) by engineers from Sukoku Industries.
The Kalgachi government is prepared to offer the sum of one hundred thousand (100,000) Kalgarrand per aircraft if new (totalling 3.2 million Kalgarrand) or, if they cannot be spared from new production due to Jingdao's current military priorities, thirty-three thousand (33,000) Kalgarrand per aircraft if used (totalling 1.056 million Kalgarrand). For the maintenance contract, the Kalgachi government offers a rate of one thousand (1,000) Kalgarrand per aircraft, totalling thirty-two thousand (32,000) Kalgarrand per annum Libertatis.
The Kalgachi government is confident that the above offer represents the maximum generosity of the Kalgachi government permissible without incurring a net transactional asymmetry in favour of the Jingdaoese military-industrial complex and transgressing certain diplomatic constraints currently binding the Garden of Kalgachia. It is nonetheless hoped that this offer is found attractive for the sake of prosperity and harmony between nations.
I have the honour to be, satiated with tea,
K.S.R.
