Princess Alexis to Tour Jingdao

Post by Orion »

In a missive issued by the palace, Princess Alexis, the daughter of King Landon and Queen Anne, will be making a goodwill tour through Jingdao on behalf of the Brettish Isles. As new members of the USSO, Brettania hopes to forge a stronger relationship with its new allies. Our long history of trade and commerce with Jingdao makes them the logical first stop in what the King and Queen hope will set the stage for future tours of other USSO members, such as Craitland and Passio-Corum.

The Princess will stay for several months in Jingdao, where she will tour their great nation and see all that it has to offer. During her stay she will also discuss how Brettania and Jingdao can build a stronger relationship diplomatically. As an island nation commerce is vital to the well-being of the nation, and access to resources that are otherwise unattainable is of special importance. Given Jingdao's vast empire spanning much of Apollonia, their nearly-unlimited supply of resources can clearly serve to fuel the industrious Brettish factories. While there the Princess will also learn more about Jingdaoese culture and religion, and likewise share in Brettania's traditions, thus paving the way for better understanding between our two peoples.
