Breaking news: Prime Minister resigns

The Prime Minister, William Gray, has tendered his resignation to His Majesty and Peter III has accepted it. The news come just after the results of the general election was announced - the party of the now former head of the government, the Conservative and Monarchist Party has lost 7 seats while their major opponensts - the Liberals - got 5 new members. Mr. Gray said that he was "dissapointed with the election which results in a hung parliament and that he will be seeking a quiet and deserved relief from state responsibilities". An official statement from the Constitutional Palace states that "His Majesty thanks the Prime Minister for his services and wishes him a healthy retirement". It was announced that although the Conservatives have lost their majority, as the biggest party they're entitled to draft a King's Speech and try to form the next Cabinet.

Short breaking news: King Peter III has decided to appoint Basil Tzimiskes, a contraversial member of the Conservative and Monarchist Party, to the position of Prime Minister of the kingdom.
