With the culmination of this year's League 1 season, those players who were on loan to and from the division's sides have returned to their parent clubs.

Young winger brothers Alexis and Juan Pellegrino have returned to Tellia and specifically Romero Sport following a mix of campaigns. Juan spent the season with Kealb, who finished in a poor ninth place, and ultimately became their starting left-sided midfielder notching four goals, while Alexis' appearances for champions Cherry Trees were fleeting, though the right-winger scored three himself including the penultimate goal of the entire league season. Both players are highly expected to garner attention from a multitude of Craitish clubs, with the pair being touted as the future of Craitland's national team, and have the Colney Cup this month in which to showcase their talents further.

The other returning loanee making his way out of Craitland is Juan's former-teammate Harë Ëgermarč. The Senyan defender goes home to Urzi Magatalska having helped tally eleven clean sheets for the struggling Kealb and scoring a single goal in a win over Sverige Tiem. Kealb are thought to be interested in making the move permanent, but whether Urzi and the player wish to part full-time remains to be seen.

Ëgermarč's deal last year saw Craitish international Lydveldt Loresen go the other way for the season, with the winger contributing as the team finished third to qualify for the AEFA Champions' League for the first time, and made the domestic and AEFA Cup semi-finals in a successful campaign.

Senyan midfielder Ƨinkœ Zvet has completed his move to Sverige Tiem, following his agreement of terms last month. The winger departs Hamland's Morfaga North Rangers following the mutual ending of his contract, with the Hammish league in disarray during the ongoing civil war, but was part of the side which won a shock second consecutive EMUFA Champions' League title in his final match for the club.

The 26 year-old has not yet been given a squad number, with no departures from Sverige announced yet.

Attacking midfielder Niko Jeglič will now ply his trade outside of Craitland, for next season at least, after agreeing to a loan move to the Kingdom of Coria. The newly-established FMF nation recently permitted eligibility for Ocian-born footballers, like Jeglič, and Partizan Averna were eager to join the list of teams to bring such players to the Corian Superliga. Partizan will be competing in the top flight for the first time later this year, and the 32 year-old ZK player is said to be excited to take on a new challenge and aims to prove himself enough for an international selection.

Coria's league's rules prevent the permanent signing of any players over the age of thirty, so Jeglič was only able to sign on a loan deal, albeit with a yearly renewal clause in his contract. He will wear Partizan's number 21 shirt.

In what is now a Craitish tradition, the League 1 teams' retiring players have been announced for 2017, with a few reputable internationals calling time on their careers as eight of the division's ten sides lose players.

Biulya äqi Jedu have four players hanging up their boots; Novatainian-born right-back Mart Hil'jandé and Craitish forward Frakhemn Jacksen (both 34) are leaving after six and 15 seasons with the club, respectively. Fellow striker Lucas Zaya, 34, is also calling time on an interesting career, having spent a decade in Biulya and appeared for both Monovia and Craitland in the FMF World Cup. However, the club's most high-profile departure is attacking midfielder Jon-Jan Jónsen; the 33 year-old joined the club in 2005 and amassed a total of 48 international caps for Craitland, scoring eleven goals.

Cherry Trees' only retirement this year is now-Caputian Alexandrian winger Fábio González. A big-money Cr 15 million move in 2007, the 33 year-old played in five World Cups and helped the club to a domestic double in his first season in Craitland.

Three players have ended their time at Eĵars Town; two players who have been with the club since its foundation, once-capped Craitish right-back Yaqin Tereminus, 34, and Flemish midfielder Valãorinho, 35, are ending their careers, along with striker Maärtin Hjólt, 33, who joined the team ten years ago.

Kealb are the biggest losers this summer, with five players' retirements expected to be the start of a new era at the club. Three of the departures have considerable international experience between them; central midfield pairing Gabriël Joors, 34, and Henning Mathen, 35, appeared in three World Cup squads apiece for Zandarijn and Stormark, respectively, with striker Marc Mortensen, 33, earning 19 Craitland caps and winning the 2012 League 1 golden boot as well. In addition, wingers Hjaņ Demb and Rasólio Hjansen, both 34, are also retiring after spending their entire careers with Kealb.

Two further internationally capped players are retiring out of Osĵätoņ Aztecs' roster. While they may only tally two Craitland appearances between them since 2006, right-sider Älekä Pellegrino and left-mid Oscar Iņäki, both 33, have both been ever-present in the team's squad since day one, and have enviable trophy cabinets.

Róndlinga Diamonds have four extra squad spots to fill thanks to their departures. Captain Vorgeņ Juliaĵsen is likely to be the biggest loss, with the 34 year-old central midfielder being joined by World Cup-winning Hammish defender Peter MacKenȝie, also 34. Passasian midfielder Corey Marshall, 34, and right-midfielder Vorgeņ Chentzansio, 33, are the other two Diamonds to call it a day.

Left-back Marc Demhivo is Sverige Tiem's only retiree this year. The 33 year-old was a regular in the international set-up during Sverige's most successful period and won seven Craitish caps to go with his two league titles.

Lastly, Xäiville Teflons say goodbye to three popular players. Defenders Ari Illola and Krzysztof Łukasz, both 33 and who between them have 22 years' service at the club, are retiring with the experience of each having played in seven FMF World Cup finals for (mostly) Hurmu and Interland, respectively. They are joined by versatile midfielder Elario Campisano, 34; the Osclandish-born Tellian who cost Cr 10 million in 2011, with all three having won the title with the club the season before last.

Re: 2017 League 1 transfers

Post by Craitman »

This week has witnessed two noteworthy outgoing transfers from League 1, with two former-Alexandrian superstars agreeing to moves to Gerenia.

In what is the biggest deal of the summer so far, Xäiville Teflons wideman Javier Santos has joined Bazree Mäeklenes for a considerable Cr 18 million fee. The 26 year-old leaves the Craitish club after ten years' service, having developed from a scrawny teenage left-back to one of Micras' most well-rounded attacking wingers during this time. Despite a tricky start to his time in League 1, Santos' progress has seen him become a major part in the club's rise to domestic success and earned him a starting place for Alexandria over the last few years, including their run to the semi-finals of this summer's World Cup. Now eligible for Caputia, the winger had chosen a new challenge in Gerenia, joining a Bazree side looking to return to the top of the domestic table after a good AEFA Cup run last season, after requesting that the Teflons' administration listen to offers for him. If his past determination is anything to go by, Santos could make a real statement this coming campaign with this move.

While not quite a bank-breaker, the move of Santos' compatriot Florent Lassana-Traoré from Osĵätoņ Aztecs to KPSK Isherwood for Cr 7 million is equally as important. Now 33, the originally-Alexandrian striker is a phenomenon of Micrasian football, having scored a record five hat-tricks at the FMF World Cup and a grand total of 37 goals at the highest echelon. "FLT", as he is commonly known, spent five seasons with the Aztecs, following a huge Cr 23 million move in the summer of 2012. After an immediate impact to see the club secure the first ever FMF Champions' League trophy, the striker was League 1 top scorer in his début season as he helped the team to a first league title in four years before also subsequently adding back-to-back WMFA Cup wins a couple of years later. While last season saw his appearances limited as a partnership between Jan-Morteņ Juliaĵsen and Kali Kalani was tried up top, he found the net ten times and was still very much on the radar of a number of clubs across Micras before agreeing terms in Gerenia. Isherwood's fee payment could ultimately become a bargain, knowing Lassana-Traoré's talent and the skilled squad manager Ádolz Namar is compiling, having already reached the AEFA Champions' League final earlier in the year, with all parties involved reportedly buzzing to begin work together.

Xäiville Teflons have sealed their first signing of the summer, a day after their first sale, with Mercurian forward Jack Partridge being unveiled after completing a Cr 12.25 million move.

The pacy 26 year-old joins on a deal from Dynamo Deacon, and becomes his nation's most expensive player, with his fee eclipsing the Cr 12 million paid for his international striker partner Joe Foxon in 2013. While the early years of Partridge's career saw him playing relatively irregularly, he has established himself in recent years as a reliable attacking option, and helped spearhead Mercury's run to the World Cup semi-finals this summer, scoring thrice.

According to reports, the move was almost jeopardised earlier this week when the two clubs were unable to agree on a payment structure for the deal, with the Teflons apparently hoping for a smaller initial fee followed by add-ons, but Dynamo's negotiating team stood firm to accept only the full price upfront.

Partridge's move has already begun rumours in the Craitish press regarding the future of Hammish-born striker Andrew Miller. With thoughts that he could sign for a Caputian Premier Division club this window, the 25 year-old's likelihood of being in the Teflons' plans looks slimmer with Partridge's addition to their offence.

Sverige Tiem winger Billy McVeigh has completed his move to Caputia's Garrak Athletic. Expectation that the 33 year-old would move this window was high, given Sverige's signing of Senyan Ƨinkœ Zvet, and Garrak's recent offloading of Mercurian James Phillips made a clear link. The Hammish international moves for a fee of Cr 330,000, having spent five seasons in Tiem with a King's Cup winner's medal taken last year, and will wear his new side's number 33 shirt to represent his age.

Having lost five players to retirement this summer, Kealb have made major steps towards rebuilding their squad thanks to a Cr 19 million triple-coup signing from Tellian outfit Romero Sport.

After spending last season on loan with Kealb, Craitish youngster Juan Pellegrino has returned on a permanent deal, and has evidently been spreading a good word about the club. Juan's fee covers Cr 6 million of the combined total, and will see the 20 year-old take the number 11 jersey after a fair début campaign in which he scored four goals.

Joining Juan for Cr 8 million is his elder brother, Alexis, 21. Generally held in slightly higher regard, having been drafted into Romero's senior side first of the pair, Alexis spent last term with champions Cherry Trees, but found his opportunities limited despite managing to find the net three times. With a great desire to make his international breakthrough this year, following two successful Colney Cup tournaments with the under-21s, Alexis joins Kealb for more certainty of a starting position and will wear the number 7.

Lastly, as Kealb try to replace their long-standing central midfield partnership of Joors and Mathen, Caputian Yoann Giton arrives for an additional Cr 5 million. An international with Alexandria, his chances at that level have been limited due to the strength of other players, but three World Cup squad appearances and a winning goal in the 2014 WMFA Champions' League final are evidence of the 26 year-old's ability. Hoping that a new stage of his career will kick-start a return to form and subsequent tournament football, Giton takes the number 8 shirt.

Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland have made their first outgoing move of the summer, with back-up forward Chris Dóla moving to Florian Premier League team Northcliff United. The 22 year-old, who has been in HóC's squad since joining as an academy graduate in 2013, moves for an initial fee of Cr 1 million, which could rise after this season dependant on United's performances.

Kealb's busy day of transfer activity ended with a fourth addition, as defender Damien Vorgensen signed from Judah Jaguars of Caputia.

The versatile Crait, whose last spell in his homeland was back in 2007 at ZK prior to a free move to Alexandria, joins for a reported fee of Cr 2.9 million. Having spent ten years with the Joya City Jaguars, Vorgensen moved to Judah Jaguars on a Larsen free transfer following the dissolution of Alexandria and foundation of Caputia's Premier Division earlier this month. A four-time capped international, the 31 year-old is likely to be established as a starter for Kealb, and his arrival means the club is not expected to pursue Harë Ëgermarč, who spent last season on loan from Senya's Urzi Magalatska, on a permanent basis.

Unusually for a defender, Vorgensen will wear the club's number ten shirt, which he was previously granted for his entire career at Joya City, while the loan-returning Lydveldt Loresen has been reïnstated with his 19 shirt for the upcoming campaign.

Caputian forward Andrew Miller has left Xäiville Teflons after five years with the club, joining Mercury's Tow Law in a Cr 22.5 million deal.

Miller, 25, spent a total of seven seasons in Craitland after signing for Osĵätoņ Aztecs in 2010, and scored over 100 goals in League 1 as he won the golden boot in both the 2014 and 2016 seasons. One of only a handful of players to win every trophy on offer in domestic Craitish football, Miller leaves with very few regrets, saying, "I can't overstate how much I've enjoyed my time in Xäiville. Getting to know this city, its people and be part of its team leaves a mark on you. Not even the most die-hard fan would have thought we'd bring a league title back here, but we did and I've never felt anything like that. The gratitude of supporters whose club had been used to being the butt of jokes can't be matched. However, I feel it's time for a new challenge, and what Tow Law have shown me makes me think I'm making the right move. I hope Teflons around the nation understand my decision and I'll always look for the team's results until we meet again."

Tow Law representatives added that bringing Miller to the club, in a move which makes him the most expensive player signed by a Mercurian team and also the tenth-most costly transfer ever, was hopefully the start of a new era of dominance with Miller and new striker partner Joe Foxon having some serious goalscoring pedigree at all levels between them.

The striker's deal announcement came under hesitant circumstances following the heartbreaking news of former-Tow Law player Jamie Dent's death earlier this morning bringing a sombre mood to the club, but with the medical known to have been underway, the move was a near-inevitability.

In light of Miller's departure, Teflons' Craitish right-midfielder Jan Mortensen has switched to their number 7 jersey, with new signing Mercury forward Jack Partridge being confirmed taking the vacated number 11. Miller's number at Tow Law has yet to be announced.

Osĵätoņ Aztecs have completed their first signing of the summer after bringing in young prospect Mikel Densar.

The 20 year-old midfielder came through the ranks of second-tier Mainlae Town and has shown real promise the past couple of seasons, with his displays being integral to the side's back-to-back League 2 titles and a first ever Cities' Cup win, which subsequently qualified them for the WMFA Cup last season, in which he scored the decisive goal.

The versatile Crait's rise has also seen him earn his first under-21 international call-up this summer as he was included in the victorious Colney Cup squad. While the pressure of expectation may not be felt yet, with a number of other Craitish youngsters touted for big things playing in the centre of the park, Densar's move to one of League 1's most successful clubs will surely put his performances under the radar.

The full transfer fee paid is Cr 3.6 million, and Densar will wear the Aztecs' number eleven shirt, as last donned by Florent Lassana-Traoré.

In what has been one of the most costly transfer windows in years, another big move has been announced, with Caputian Jean-Pierre d'Oliviera signing for Senyan club Urzi Magalatska.

D'Oliviera, 26, has agreed terms to complete a Cr 27.5 million move way from Osĵätoņ Aztecs following considerable rumours after being left-out of the side's match-day squad for this weekend. The Alexandrian-born midfielder has been a mainstay in the Aztecs' team ever since signing ten years ago in a Cr 10 million as a mere 16 year-old, and leaves having had a hand in six trophy wins with the club. Interest in d'Oliviera was reportedly upped during this summer's World Cup, with the midfielder starring in Les Bleus' run to a third-placed finish and scoring one of the goals of the tournament, and the future aims of Urzi were thought to appeal to the play-maker, who has been unable to help the Aztecs finish higher than fourth in the league in the past four seasons.

The departure of international teammate Florent Lassana-Traoré earlier in the window may have also swayed d'Oliviera's decision to move on, as the club's Alexandrian contingent continues to lose numbers, and the addition of Mikel Densar from Mainlae Town this week was seemingly a means of limiting the detrimental effects of an important departure such as his. The fee paid by Urzi Magalatska makes the move the window's second biggest and means d'Oliviera becomes the seventh-most expensive player in Micrasian history.

Osĵätoņ Aztecs wasted no time in redistributing the wealth they gained from the sale of Jean-Pierre d'Oliviera yesterday; bringing-in winger and fellow Caputian Adam Lalić for a fee of Cr 10.5 million.

The 27 year-old joins from Imperial New Kirrie after a fair showing in the Premier Cup, and takes the number seven shirt. The winger has had something of an underwhelming career so far despite being tipped as a major prospect after making his international bow as a 16 year-old for Monovia, having spent a decade in and out of Club Imperiale's starting line-up. An undeniable talent, his unreliability has been a factor for criticism, but the pacy attacker hopes to prove himself in League 1 and make a mark on his adopted nation Caputia's national team in next year's qualifiers.

In addition, the Aztecs have announced young defender Carl Hjälden will wear the number four jersey last donned by d'Oliviera.

Biulya äqi Jedu have begun trying to replace the notable retirees that left the club this summer, with the Cr 16 million signing of Vincent Chertrand-Pernet a statement of intent with their first move of the window.

The 24 year-old's signature can be seen as somewhat of a coup following the successful World Cup he had earlier this summer, as the forward joins after a short period at Garrak Athletic, who have received over Cr 55 million in transfer fees this year already. A Franciscania Athletic academy graduate, Chertrand-Pernet came to public attention with his match-winning brace from the bench in injury time of the final of the 2012 CTFA Champions' League as a teenager. Having grown into a player of some calibre, noted for his ability to play a number of roles in the top third of the pitch, his three goals in Senya this year showed he is reaching his potential as an attacking threat.

The Alexandrian-born forward has been handed Lucas Zaya's former 21 shirt, and is thought to be likely to slip into the right of a front three for BäJ, with Tellian Gianluca Salmoiraghi a very similar player and already established down the team's left side. With Gerenia's Zelmar Toscano in behind, now adorned with the number ten, BäJ's offensive options are there to rival any other club on Micras' should they gel together.

The club are thought to be looking at acquiring an established right-back before the transfer deadline, while the remaining two squad places are likely to be awarded to youth products.

After a lengthy negotiation period, Kealb have finally got their man and signed Mercury striker Michael Jolliffe. As was reported, Kealb were interested in the 26 year-old as a replacement in light of Marc Mortensen's retirement, and with his starting options potentially limited with the signing of Andrew Miller, the Tow Law captain was seemingly open to the move.

Kealb and Tow Law had been thrashing out a deal for a number of days, and it was also thought the deal could be scuppered at the last minute with a Cr 6 million bid from domestic rivals Mercury City coming in, but Kealb's counter proposal of Cr 6.5 million was enough to see the saboteurs off and secure the move. In moving, Jolliffe becomes the fifth new face at Grey Park this summer and will wear number 14 as he looks to slip into a side with considerably more confidence than previous years thanks to some solid transfer dealings and a degree of organised planning for the season ahead.

To end the weekend flurry of transfers, Róndlinga Diamonds have acquired the services of Senyan defender Jan Ƨardënöčer on a free transfer. The 22 year-old last played professionally for Miše FC in Safiria prior to their demise in 2015, but received a call-up to the under-21s for the Colney Cup last year. A former-Senya B cap, the centre-back has seen struggles with injury in the past, but has impressed on trial with the Diamonds as they aim to replace Peter MacKenȝie's vacancy in the squad and will take the number twenty.
